The Shiraz (50% of the blend) was harvested from the Malakoff Vineyard in the Victorian Pyrenees region, and the Grenache (50%) was sourced from central Victoria near Nagambie. The two were harvested and fermented separately, with a small proportion of whole bunch ferment in the Shiraz, then blended in late winter and returned to barrel for further maturation.
